I recently completed my PhD at the Climate Change Research Centre at UNSW. I'm interested in the Southern Hemispheric Westerly winds and how they have influenced the Earth's carbon cycle over the last 1000 years. My previous research involves using Earth System Models to run sensitivity studies and analysing paleo-data to validate my model output. I am also engaged in assessing the reliability of paleo-reconstructions of the SAM using simulation outputs and real-world proxy data. I have also developed lesson content the first undergraduate online course at the CCRC.
I currently work at PIK as a postdoctoral researcher under Prof. Stefan Rahmstorf as part of the PALMOD project.
