We flew into Queenstown on a rainy Monday. After the six of us made it through customs, we picked up our ride for the next 24 hours: a shiny new van, we were travelling in style.
Quickly getting settled into our hostel, we headed out to find some food and decided to tackle the mountain outside the town centre. It was just the thing we needed after a day of cramped sitting down and the views were stunning. For my first day in NZ, it could scarcely have gone better. Next stop: Invercargill.
